I really didn't mean to buy anything today, it just happened! I went back to get the encyclopedias and found these two beauties. Many moons ago I saw a homes & gardens magazine featuring a bathroom with full size angel statues overlooking a rolltop bath, and I've been searching for holy statues ever since.
I've always loved religious iconography though I'm not sure how best to display these in the house without coming across as a total wingnut! Poor Mary has taken a knock to the head at some point but I can hopefully patch her up some time.
